Shiro Utsuri

In 2014 and 2015 became slowly but surely clear that our Shiro Utsuri got much interest on the national shows.

They were often rewarded with an award in every possible size.

With the Shiro Utsuri it is, like all other varieties, of course extremely Important that they have a good body. A good body but a less brighter and whiter skin quality is, especially in a Shiro Utsuri a very negative attribute. If the skin is not really snow white the black will not come out as it should be. The whiter the white will be, the deeper and more powerful becomes the black colour. Black is black, but next to the colour white the black becomes much more or lesser strengthened. The black patterns must have a deep and even shade and preferably be placed playful but evenly over the white surface. Actually it is a bit strange to say it this way, because a Shiro is a black fish with a white pattern. However, the appearance of a more modern Shiro Utsuri lets us suspect otherwise.
It is also important to look that the head is not to flesh-coloured or yellow. That disrupts the smooth and powerful appearance of the Shiro Utsuri.

Often the males have this negative trait. A good female with a light head is often what the prize increases for a large part.

Just look at these two Shiro Utsuri and their appearance. This is what makes a Shiro Utsuri one of the most well known and prized varieties.

Also on shows they are strictly jugdged by these properties. That is also the reason that these two Shiro Utsuri knew their place of honor without problems.
